We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details our offline processing model and security standards.

1. Summary (Zero Cloud Exposure & Maximum Privacy)

Incumbent subscription managers often require you to connect your personal bank accounts, credit cards, or register with cloud sync systems, creating data exposure risks.

• Offline-First Storage: The Simple Subscription Tracker operates completely offline. All subscription records, prices, and renewal cycles are saved exclusively in your device's local database.
• No Server Storage: We do not operate external database servers or cloud sync modules.
• No Account Required: You do not need to register, sign up, or share an email address to use the App.
• Local Notifications: All alerts, push notifications, and renewal warnings are triggered locally on your device by the App's native engine—no server-side push notifications are ever sent.

2. Information We Process

Because all information remains strictly local, we have no access to any of your data:

A. Data You Input (Stored Locally Only)

You manually enter the following information:

• Subscription names, descriptions, and categories.
• Pricing, billing currencies, billing cycles (weekly, monthly, annual, etc.), and next payment dates.

This information is saved securely within your device's secure local sandbox partition and is never transmitted to us or any third parties.

B. Device Permissions

The App may request specific system permissions to enable core workflows:

• Notifications (Alerts): Needed to schedule local reminders before your subscriptions renew.
• Storage / Photos / Files (Export Access): Used only to compile and export your list of subscriptions locally to CSV files. We do not scan, browse, or read any other files or directories on your device.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• No Monetization or Sharing: We do not collect, monetize, sell, trade, or share any data inputted into the App with third-party advertisement companies, analytics databases, or brokers.
• No Access for Disclosure: Since your data is stored strictly on your device and never uploaded to our servers, we do not possess any of your data and cannot disclose it to any third parties or legal authorities under any circumstances.

4. Retention and Deletion

• Complete User Ownership: You have absolute control over your records and can edit or delete any subscription entry inside the App at any time.
• Permanent Data Deletion: If you wish to wipe all database files permanently, you can easily do so by:
  1. Going to your Android system settings, choosing the App, and selecting "Clear Storage" or "Clear Data."
  2. Uninstalling the App.

Uninstalling the App permanently and immediately deletes all locally saved databases and records. This data cannot be recovered.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since the App collects zero personal data or device identifiers, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

6. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. We will alert you to changes by publishing the updated version on this page and revising the "Last Updated" date. You are encouraged to review this page regularly.
